When I joined the then Faulty of Administration UNB in early 80's Karen was one of the few secretaries around at that time I remember Karen as a soft spoken smiling person.r. As an MBA secretary she was the go to person for all the student needs and she did a wonderful job. She was living next door to my colleague and friend Prof. Arcelus . Hence we had quite a few conversational topics during her lunch time visit to the lounge.One think I have observed was that Karen was meticulous in cleaning the bread crumbs from the table and used to say that was her childhood habit learnt from her father. When I had shown some interest in collecting stamps Karen used to save the international envelopes the MBA office received and periodically place the in my mail box. Few days before leaving she brought a few stamps and old pictures of me in a faculty party that she had found . That took us back to the eighties. I carry wonderful memories of Karen RIP Karen Srini

I was greatly saddened to learn about Karen's passing and would like to express most sincere condolences to her family. Karen had been a valued staff member at UNB's Faculty of Business Administration (now Faculty of Management) for many years. She worked in the MBA office and will always be remembered for her cheerful and kind personality. She deeply cared for the students. At a personal level, she had taken a picture of me with my (then) toddler daughter that I still have and cherish. May her soul rest in peace.

Karen was a beautiful lady inside and out. She was a good neighbour for many years and I enjoyed her catch- up chats when she would stop by to visit Michelle and Alex . She loved yard sales and just socializing with people .She certainly had the gift of the gab and her smile was contagious. She will be missed!

My sincere condolences to Bob and all of Karen’s family. The Hansen family were neighbours of ours when we were growing up. Karen is one of the nicest person I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Lots of memories, lots of good memories of Karen, her mom and dad, Kathy , Rodney, Doug, and Ricky. We used to walk to school together, to the same school her and Bob bought as a summer home if I’m not mistaken. Met up with her a few years ago in Fredericton. We realized that she lived a few houses away from my brother Roger Beaulieu on Hanwell Road. It was amazing we met if I’m not mistaken in Fredericton by accident while we were having lunch. My goodness she will surely be missed by all those who knew her. You do not find a lot of women with the kindest heart I think I ever knew. Our prayers are with all of her family and may the good Lord wrap his loving arms around you during this difficult devastating period of your lives. God bless
