Pam and Family,
Our sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one, Charlie. Sorry, we could not be present for the service for Charlie. It was always a joy to visit with Charlie when he was in hospital. He enjoyed his life and was so thankful for his family whom he loved so much. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew him, and especially by his family and his church.
We give Charlie back to God and in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life in Christ. May his rest be in peace, and his dwelling place be in the Paradise of God. Amen. +
Our love to al.
John and Cynthia

To Pam and family: We were so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. My grandmother, Julia Warren, was great friends with Helen and Ed. My mum and my aunt used to tell me stories about times when Charlie would visit when they were kids. I also remember when Helen and Ed would bring their granddaughters with them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. Nancy (Daley) DeWitt, Bucky and Shayne Shanks.

Pam and girls,
We were very saddened to hear of the passing of your sweet "Charlie" I had the opportunity of working with Charlie at Mack Maritime for over eight years, and always found him to be very caring and thoughtful, especially when he mentioned his "girls"! You were the light of his life! Anyone who had the honor of knowing Charlie always held him in high regard and with respect. Please accept our deepest sympathies and know you are in our thoughts and prayers in these trying times.
Sincerely, Marlene and Mahlon Brewer

MJ, Mom & family. Saddened but not surprised to hear the news. Word had it that he’d not been well for some time. The nice write-up shows a man who had a “life well lived” as the saying goes. His life story suggests one filled with love, humour, satisfaction and appreciation of his professional and personal accomplishments. Hopefully, as you pour through the many family photos, countless stories will arise to provide some comfort and perhaps even comic relief during this time of private grieving. Sincere feelings are sent your way. Friends Joanne and Peter

Pam and family,
I first met Charlie and Pam when I worked at the Brookside Mall. I always enjoyed your regular visits and the conversations we had about our families, food and wine. Charlie loved to tease, was always so comical, and such a sweet man.
When I was working at the Manor, I still remember the first day I met the two of you in the hallway. I was so happy to see you again, but sad at the same time. I know firsthand how difficult it is to have to make that decision for a loved one. Pam, you are a strong, beautiful, woman, and I can't express how sorry I am for your loss. I know how much you loved Charlie.
Please accept my deepest condolences.

My sympathy to all the family in the loss of Charlie. We grew up across the street from one another on Barker Street, but I really didn't know him. When you're a kid, seven years is a big age difference, and he always seemed so grownup to me. It was so nice to meet his daughter Cindy years later when we taught at the Stanley School. May you be blessed with many happy memories to warm your hearts in the days to come.
Sincerely,
Sandra (Dorcas) MacBean

Dear Pam and family, I worked with Charlie many years ago. He always had a smile and was a joy to be around. Most conversations were about his family who he adored. Although we lost touch over the years, on occasion when I did run into him, and always with Pam at his side, he always stopped to say hello. Please accept my deepest condolences and praying you are all comforted with the love and memories you shared. Blessings, Marlita Chase
