George was a great neighbour! He always kept my driveway plowed in the winter! Brought me lobster! He made me feel safe knowing he was watching my home whether I was home or away. I loved dropping by with baked goods and visiting with George and of course Zoe the dog! She always landed on my lap as we visited! George you will be greatly missed. Thank you for all you did for me. The neighborhood will never be the same without you .

We lost an amazing man, an excellent provider, and overall wonderful person. It doesn't feel like reality, we've lost you last week and Gram back in 2015, who we still miss each day. I can still hear both talking French when I close my ears. You will forever be in my heart, and the heart of so many others Grampy. I'll hold you and Gram in the best memories, remembering our time together. Thank you for everything, 21 years of life under your roof, but also 31 years of life full of love and support. Saddened to hear of Dadoo’s passing. I’ll certainly miss seeing him sitting in the back of his truck on the Brookside and chatting with the”Fishman”. He always welcomed everyone with a warm smile.

We have bought smelt from The Fishman many times. Lobster too. Every January the neighbours in the Nashwaaksis area start asking if he's been seen yet. We always looked forward to having a chat. He was an exceptionally nice man and will be missed. Please accept our condolences.

I bought many bags of smelts over the years from George......He had his truck parked across from Devon mall, next to the Catholic Church ... Always enjoyed our friendly chats...He love to talk about hunting and fishing.. Sorry to hear of George's passing...We will miss him... He was a good man!! RIP, mon ami... John Fila...Noonan N.B.
