Obituary of Sherry Jean Lloyd

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sherry Jean Lloyd of Maugerville, NB, on January 20, 2022 at home.  Born on October 30, 1959 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of Hayden and Mavis (Gullison) Lloyd.

Sherry was born to shop. She loved a good road trip “across the lines”. Sherry had a knack for decorating, love for quilting, made the best homemade pizza and always said “love you, bye!” She enjoyed daily walks down the tracks and especially loved summer and the sunshine but her true joy was her fierce love for her grandkids. She attended nursing school after high-school but quickly realized it wasn't for her. Sherry was a claims adjuster with Wawanesa for 40 years. She was a hard and dedicated worker who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Sherry is survived by her loving partner, Jerry Bowmaster; daughter, Holly Sullivan (Derek) of Fredericton; son, Travis Hunt (Kodi Burtt) of Maugerville; grandchildren, Madison, Hilary, Noah, Olivia and Kate; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. A public graveside service will be held in Maugerville Cemetery at a later date.
