My young life evolved around the “corner” and Jones Forks Road. Iva was always so wonderful to all us kids - she treated us so well. She was never grumpy - that says a lot to a child. I remember when Lyman and I climbed a big tree near their yard all the way to the top. The branch broke and I fell through the tree branches all the way to the bottom. Lyman and I hid the branch - but never got into trouble for breaking the branch off the tree. Iva was always so pleasant to us as children. We played a lot in the wood behind their house.
