To the family of Mike Wilson - we want to pass on our prayers and sympathy on his passing. I first me Mike in the mid seventies on our arrival in Fredericton. I learned a lot from Mike - both from work and on a personal level. He was a true gentleman in all respects - and I have never known another member who always had the betterment of members in his heart. I can recall Mike teaching me how to do some home renovations - crack fill a ceiling - I stood on a stool - Mike stood on the floor - and he taught me how to do a ceiling. May he rest in peace. Deepest sympathy to all of Mike’s family. So sorry to hear of his passing. I knew Mike for many years and worked with him and beside him as we served in the Force. He was always so very pleasant, dedicated and willing to help members in any way he could. I had opportunity to visit him while he was at the care home and even though he was challenged in a number of ways he knew me and welcomed me in his usual pleasant way. So thankful for having known him through the years.
Sincerely;
Wally Collett.

To the Family of Mike Wilson. We were so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I have known Mike since the late 60's and had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with him during my early years of service especially during the time that he was the dogmaster in Fredericton. I am so fortunate to benefit from so many fond memories. Mike was an excellent member of the RCMP who gave countless hours to his Dogmaster role as well as the Division DSRR. He always strived to improve the working conditions and well being of the members . I am so thankful that I was able to spend some time with him a couple of years ago while visiting relatives in Fredericton. Although his memory was challenged, I was welcomed with that always big smile. I will always cherish those memories my friend. You are no doubt in a better place. May you rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I always loved any conversation with him. Donna and I worked together and were friends for many years. I felt as though I knew each and every one of you as she spoke of you all fondly very often. He was one of the “good” ones. Enjoy your wonderful memories, our sympathies to you all. Mike's family: My sincere sympathy to all. I have fond memories of Mike while working at "J" Division, always direct and caring. I by mistake received his pay cheque one time as our initials are the same and last name as well. We had a good chuckle. Thinking of you at this sad time. Mary E. Wilson

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great member who didn't hesitate to stand up for and represent members when they required assistance. He had the courage to be speak loudly on any matter he perceived as unfair. He was a good police officer and dog handler and sometimes on chasing down a criminal he was out ahead of the dog and arrived to make the arrest before the dog arrived. He was that kind of guy. I will miss Mike and am sorry I was unable to see more of him during his illness.

To Terry, Chris and the rest of mikes Family I am sorry to hear of his passing. I first met Mike in 1966 when he started to build his house near mine on Moss Ave. He got me interested in motorcycles. I used his bike to take my test in June 1967.
