Obituary of Darrell Kirk Bruce

The passing of Darrell "Kirk" Bruce of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on February 21, 1956 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Darrell and Joyce (O'Donnell) Bruce. 

Kirk was a civilian employee for many years with the Department of National Defence at Base Gagetown.

As a youth, he enjoyed playing baseball and hockey. He also became very good at playing billiards and travelled around the province to compete in many tournaments. 

Kirk was a loyal friend, a proud uncle, a loving brother and a devoted son.

Kirk is survived by his siblings, Ron (Lynn), Kevin and Shelley Bruce; nieces and nephews, Craig, Chris, Marc, Brad and Charlene; great niece, Livia; and great nephew, Lennon.

In keeping with Kirk's wishes there will be no visitation or service at this time.  Interment will take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Carroll's Crossing, NB at a later date.  For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
