I first met Kirk at a pool hall. I believe it was Rack's. It was the first of many times he kicked my butt on the felt. Kirk was kind, gentle, and quiet but had a competitiveness that snuck up on you. I am sorry to hear of his passing and will cherish his memories as I know you will. All the best to his family in this difficult time.

Shocked and saddened to hear that Kirk has passed. I have had the pleasure of knowing and being around Kirk through Snooker for many years. A real "Gentleman of the old school". My sincere condolences to the family.

Julie and I would like to send our sincere condolences to the Bruce family. It was always special to visit Cousin Kirk and get into a good discussion about anything. Kirk has left us too early but he is not suffering any longer. RIP Kirk!

Dear Family: I'm sorry for your loss. Kirk and I grew up together through School, and we played Hockey together early years as kids. Later years, we played probably 1,000 games of pool at 1 of the local establishments, over many years. He won most of them - he was very good, and a fierce competitor, which made our "time well wasted" together, much more enjoyable for me - and i'm sure for him. He was a True Gentleman all the while, and i respected and followed his lead.
One of the Good Guys has fallen.......

So sorry for your loss Shelley, Kevin and Ron. Kirk was a good friend for many many years. I’m glad we had lots of chats over the years and more frequent the last few months. Kirk still had his sense of humour toward the end, when he joked that he knew he was going downhill fast, because Jake and Allen beat him in a game of pool. We had a good laugh. RIP my friend. So sorry to hear of the passing of Kirk. I knew Kirk from many years of competitive pool. He was always a gentleman, but very competitive at the pool table. A truly all around nice guy. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest easy Kirk. You made Earth a better place.
