Just found out that Claude had passed away, deepest condolences from the Branston family. I was actually looking for Claude to let him know that Pauline Branston had just passed away. Claude and my father Don Branston were good friends for many years. I last talked to Claude a few months after dads passing, we talked for a couple of hours and he helped me with the guilty i had because dad and I fought right before he passed. Again, sorry for your loss.

To Mrs. Cyr......
I am sorry for the late condolence as I just heard the sad news. I have read the condolences, and of course, so many kind words, but I see there was no mention of Claude's great fondness for hockey games at the York Arena.....and that's where I first met Claude as I was a rink rat and went to all the Caps games ( and Jr. Red Wings ). Also, I worked with Claude on some weekends at the Esso Service station on the corner of Union and Gibson Streets.....I was 15 at the time, so I knew him well in those days - fine to be around. Claude also failed me on my first driving test ! Even though I had already soloed an airplane by that time, he felt I was "too cocky".....I suppose in retrospect he was right....Anyway, Claude made an impression on me a long time ago and I have not forgotten him.
My deepest sympathies,
Captain Chris Fisher

Dear Joyce, Lori, and Sherry,
Our deepest sympathies on Claude's passing. As a child, I have fond memories of Claude visiting us while on business trips. He had a great sense of humor and kept me and my brothers in stitches with his jokes and stories of growing up with my Dad (Phil). I had the opportunity on many occasions to spend time with Claude and my Dad while they caught up on each others lives and again told stories about growing up together. Claude was like family and will be missed. I am glad I had a chance to have a great conversation with him before he passed. May he rest in peace.

To the Cyr Family. What a great man Claude was, as you all know. I worked for him back many years ago in Motor Vehicle, between 1980 and 1985. We had a great office (Jim Cooper, Michael Crowther, Sharon Gorman, Paula Richard and myself) and I saw him only a few times after I left there and went to work in the Department of Agriculture. The most recent time was not too many years ago at a funeral in Oromocto and he came up to me with his usual great big hug!! I'm so sorry for your loss. I think he had a pretty good life and you all will miss him dearly. Take Care.

Dear Joyce, Lori and Sherry, along with our condolences we wish you calm and peace. That Claude lived life to the fullest is hopefully a comfort as you grieve his passing. Being Claude, he certainly will be missed by many.
I as well as Rene and Marc recall their uncle's teasing and amazing stories during his visits while his work took him to the Moncton area. Also not forgotten are the many years of travels together as couples and fun Cyr family get-togethers.
Georges and I fondly remember the amusing times we shared and are grateful to have treasured photos of our visits to your cottage and you two to our home as souvenirs of our younger days...
With love and warm hugs we wish you well,
