I loved Elsie deeply. She was a wonderful lady. Always happy and full of life, even when she wasn’t feeling 100% . She always shared the best stories of growing up in Africa , many very humorous that I will never forget. She loved her children , grand children and great grandchildren deeply and would often show me photos when I would go for her weekly hairdo’s. I looked forward to seeing her each week and sharing how the week had gone. My deepest condolences to the entire family on such a great loss . I know Elsie and Stuart are sipping tea side by side in Heaven. Xo

Merrill and Nick, Stu and Ruth and family: I just wanted to send my love and prayers at this very sad time. Nanny was truly one of a kind, special and kind person. I always loved her stories and her warm and gentle nature. Nanny was sweet towards me and I will always remember that.
I will miss our Fridays at Grand Chapter and it was an honor to take her to see her friends and get reacquainted with everyone.
I loved her smile and she will always be special to me.
RIP Nanny until we meet again.

Dear Stuart, Ruth & families,
I was so sad to hear of the passing of your dear mother. I only met her once but remember her friendly greeting and lovely smile. She lived a remarkable life and was so blessed with the love of her family. When my Dad passed away, I received a card which said, "When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." I have found that to be very true. Cherish the memories. I just want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the Passing of Elsie Norton. I came to know her, and her family a few years ago, and have had many wonderful times in her presence listening to her talk, and to convers with her. I can truly say that she was one of the finest people I have known, and she truly left a lasting impression upon me, and my life. I appreciated her kindness to me very much, and her old fashioned traditional values I will always remember. I will really, and truly miss her.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere, and heartfelt condolences, thoughts, and Prayers to all of Elsie's surviving family members, and extended family, and all who's lives were made better as the result of Elsie's presence in our lives. May the God of all consolation console you, wrap his arms of love around you, strengthen you, and give you peace at this most difficult time.
