Obituary of Scott Keith Murray

The passing of Scott Murray of Fredericton, NB, occurred on February 13, 2021. Born on June 19, 1972 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Keith and Linda (Northrup) Murray. Scott is survived by the love of his life for 35 years Bonnie (Randall) Murray, he was a dedicated loving father of twins Kaitlyn and Brayden Murray (girlfriend Emma Green) of Fredericton, NB; sister Melissa Bailey (Todd) of Kenilworth, England; mother and father-in-law Bill and Sharon Randall; brother-in-law Troy Randall (Hilary); several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and his extended “framily”. Scott worked for 20 plus years with Enbridge Gas NB / Liberty Utilities. 

He lived life to the fullest and his family and friends are what mattered most. His adventurous outlook on life inspired his friends and family. He was an avid concert goer, tough Harley riding guy with a big heart, a wanna-be lumberjack and welder, aspiring mechanic, tattoo enthusiast, expert fire tender, secret explosives provider and head cook at the camp. He loved to travel and always had a trip or concert booked to look forward to. Some of his most memorable trips included Peru, Montreal, the sunny south and New York City.    

Due to the current health situation, the Funeral Service by invitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2 pm. Please join Scott’s family and friends to honour his life via the www.yorkfh.com funeral webcast. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer or to a charity of the donor's choice.
