It was always a pleasure to talk both Narda and Bill when they came into the store to shop.
Hearing stories of Narda growing up with so many sisters, Bill’s love of swimming. And always asking me how I was, and truly wanting to know. I have to agree with Diane Reid that Bill was an earth Angel. I feel grateful to have known him.
My sincere condolences to his family.
Respectfully, Sue Madigan

To the Family of the late William Haggart,
Our sincere condolences and sympathy at this time of great loss in your family. Bill will be missed by his friends, his community, his church, and more so by his family. We give God thanks for Bill's life and witness among us. It was a privilege to have Bill and Narda serve with us at St. Paul's Church in Zealand and more recently Bill at All Saints in Keswick Ridge. It was a delight to be in their company, and to share together.
"Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him." Amen +
Archdeacon John and Cynthia Sharpe

I spoke to Will on the telephone this past Christmas Eve. I rang to tell him how very much he means to me and my family. Will’s voice was quiet and I could tell it was an effort for him to make himself heard to me. Although the conversation was short I did manage to tell him that he is thought of often and warmly, that he is spoken of often and fondly and that he is loved always and muchly.
What I wish I had told him was how much I enjoyed his company. I wish I had told him how much I loved talking to him about movies, Tunnock’s teacakes, grammar schools, universities, Edinburgh, Brexit. My husband and son loved taking to him about sport and of course football (soccer). I wish I had told him how much I loved it when offered more coffee at Shannex he usually said yes. This was a thrill for me as it meant we would have longer to talk. I wish I had told him that he made my already cherished visits home to Canada even better. I wish I had said thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the loving companion to my mother Elsbeth. I wish I had told him I thought of him as a real life angel. I wish I had told him that I am so very glad to have known him and that my life is richer for it. I wish I told him how hard I have always found it to say goodbye to him but I wish I had said exactly that with all of the significance it warranted and weight of emotion I feel now.
Goodbye Will. You’re a good man.
I wish to send my sincerest condolences to the family of Will. I hope you find some joy in the knowledge that he will continue to be part my life and that his picture takes pride of place in my home on shelves shared with other photos of loved ones.

my sincere sympathies to you for the loss of Will. No drought he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I worked with Will in Tourism a good number of years ago and enjoyed the it. Will, another friend and myself used to try and get out for lunch at the Diplomat at least once every month. Enjoyed the stories of old times at work and ate too much. Sometimes lunch would last around two hours.
Our prayers are with you trust GOD will give you the strength you need while you mourn a great man.
