I had the pleasure of working for Cleve with Killeen's Transfer. He was a fair man to work for and he encouraged us young fellows to put in an honest day's work. I recently related to an apprentice " you have to learn to talk and work", something he was always reminding us. And also "never come out to the truck empty handed", another value I have applied in my own daily work ethic and routine. Beyond that, "Hovey" as we called him was incredibly funny, and often had us in tears at lunch time when we worked.
I am sorry for your loss, Hovey was a hell of a good man.

Was so very sorry to get this news this morning. Cleve was always part of my life when I was younger. The memories I have of working with him were some of the best memories I have of back then.
