We were very sorry to learn of Jim’s death and, on behalf of our family, extend our sincere condolences. Jim was a one of a kind teacher who made science an authentic learning experience. His classroom was a vibrant, living place, a menagerie, where students and teacher interacted enthusiastically and respectfully and where they had fun. Jim made a positive and lasting impression on everyone who knew him. We are so very sorry for your loss. God Bless.

Joan , Sharon, Kevin and family. We are so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was a character and quick witted. He loved to share stories of his time in the North and tease a rookie fisherman. Our thoughts are with you.

Stan's friend's condolances
Remembering:
The several times Stan (Weaver) and I were fishing in a boat on the Miramichi and met Jim and Joan in their boat for lunch, always with some special baking shared by Joan;
Fishing with Stan and Jim using waders, and catching my first grilse in a long time;
Visiting Jim and Joan at their home several times with Stan and a few times after he died, where we were always welcome and had good conversations and lots of equipment to examine and discuss.
Until his sickness, Jim lived a full life, a lot of it in the outdoors. I am privileged to have known him. My condolences to you, Joan, and my prayers for you.

I was just thinking of Mr. Weaver the other day when I was reading an educational article about bringing the world into the classroom. Although the article was written as though this was a new idea the author had never been in Mr. Weavers classroom. It inspired many students. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolences Joan, Kevin, Sharon and the rest of Mr. Weaver's family and friends. Mr. Weaver had a very profound and positive impact during my junior high and early high school years. Shop class and of course his science room were legendary. And yes I still refer to Jim as Mr. Weaver as that is how I remember him and he was a man that deserved respect. My deepest sympathies.

I'll be forever grateful to Donelda and Leo for bringing me to meet my mom's 1st cousin Jimmy. Jimmy held many characteristics of the O'Donnell/Armstrong cousins which I was tickled pink to find! Jimmy enjoyed showing his collections throughout his home from his experience of living in the far north. He was friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to visit with. Prayers for Joan and family.
Rest in Peace dear cousin!

Sharing the loss of my special cousin with the Weaver family and remembering his teasing as I was growing up as welll as our debates and great conversations for which he was always ready for. I was fortunate to have him as a neighbor and being able to hear the fishing and hunting stories when he returned home from the adventures. A personality I will sure miss but with great memories. Condolences and prayers for Joan and family. Rest in peace dear cousin until we meet again.
