Words cannot express what is in my heart.
Andre was a person who combined incredible achievement with great personal grace. He was a trailblazer in the fields of speech pathology and audiology. He was my manager and colleague for over 25 years who became a very dear and loyal friend.
One memory that stands out for me is when the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock was closing and we were moving to the Upper River Valley Hospital. Andre was heard throughout the building singing at the top of his lungs the entire day we packed our belongings at CMH! Bringing a smile to everyone's face.
Andre, you will be deeply missed.

I have worked as a speech-language pathologist in NB for 30 years and I must say....Andre's legacy in this province is huge. I interacted with Andre during provincial meetings and conferences and it was obvious to me that he was a passionate and thoughtful cheerleader for Speech and Audiology services throughout his career. His warmth and care were obvious as well. My deepest condolences to his family. May you be comforted by the memories you have of such a wonderful man.

Dear Lynn, Chantal, Sylvie, Joelle & families,
I truly have no adequate words to express how deeply sorry I am over the loss of Andre. He was a kind soul & he was the most enthusiastic & passionate man I have ever known! His love for Audiology was passionate & admirable & he's done so many wonderful things for our profession over the years - everyone knew Andre! :)
I will always be grateful to him for giving me my job here in Fredericton 26+ years ago & for his mentorship as a new grad.
I have always admired Andre & Lynn's love for each other. To me, they were the epitome of a strong, happy, & loving couple, even after all their years of marriage.
One of my favorite memories is of Andre & Lynn on the dance floor...WOW, could they dance!! And, on many occasions, over the years, Andre would take me to the dance floor for his legendary jive moves! He was such a strong lead on the dance floor that I actually felt like I was a good dancer - I "could" jive, with him as my lead :) He would twirl me around until I was exhausted &/or dizzy!!! Happy & fun memories.
My heart is so heavy over the loss of this larger-than-life man. I extend my deepest & most sincere condolences to his family & many friends. You will never, ever be forgotten, Andre.

I still remember when André called me up to offer me a job interview in Fredericton. My interview lasted all day – it started with an interview in his office, continued through lunch, and included a drive “up the river” to Woodstock to see the hospital there. On the way back, he casually started speaking French to “test” me, and by the time we got back to Fredericton, he offered me the job. His office was beside mine for many years, and during that time, I saw that he was passionate, caring, and a tireless advocate for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. He was always trying to help people, he never gave up on anyone, and I so appreciate all he has done for me. He loved his family so much. He will be missed. Lynn, Chantal, Sylvie, Joëlle and family, we are thinking of you.

I was privileged to have served on the CASLPA executive with Andre. I rarely met someone so passionate about our profession and so dedicated. He was a warm, intelligent person with a great sense of humour. We worked hard but also had a great time. I was the one who nominated him for the CASLPA Life time achievement award, an award he so rightfully deserved. He was also a great family man and spoke constantly about his daughters and about Lynn.
He has left us too soon and will be missed.

I am so saddened to hear this news. The world has less energy and passion in it now.
Growing up in Fredericton with a severe hearing loss in both ears, I often visited Andre in the hospital. After my parents, I can't think of another person who had a bigger impact on me. I was not surprised when I read that he was named "the tornado", as I always considered him a force. A force of energy, passion and , above all for me, a force of belief. Belief that I could overcome this, that I could live my life as I choose. The belief was so strong and unshakeable that it became impossible not to believe it myself. He helped me in many ways as an audiologist but this was his true impact on me, one that I still carry with me. I am sure I am not the only person who feels this way.
Andre may have left us, but his legacy will remain.
My condolences to his wife and family.
