SEARS, LESLIE CRAIG

 

The passing of Leslie Craig Sears of Durham Bridge, NB, husband of Pearl  (Dunlay) Sears, occurred on April 13, 2020 at home.  Born on August 2, 1932 in Chipman, NB,  he was the son of the late Holden and Amy (Craig) Sears. Leslie was retired from the Fredericton Police Force and enjoyed woodworking.

 

In addition to his wife, Leslie is survived by his son, Michael Sears of Durham Bridge; sisters, Linda Brown (Donnie) of Williams Lake, BC, Judy Melnyk of Hamilton, ON;  brothers, Harold Sears (Patsy) and Carl Sears (Sharon), both of Chipman; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant daughter, Margaret Lee; and sister, Marion Porter.
 

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home. In keeping with Leslie's wishes, there will be no public services at this time. Interment will take place in Red Bank Cemetery, Chipman, NB at a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
