We were saddened to hear of Gerald's passing. Gerald was a kind and caring man who truly loved his family and life. He will be greatly missed by all but there is a piece of Gerald in all of you that will live on.
I recall many times I'd see Gerald at Doug and Ellen's and he always waved, had a big hello and a warm smile to share. This is the Gerald I will remember.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Lorna and Keith and Family
Our sincere sympathy to you Lorna and Keith and Deanna and Craig. I knew your Dad when I worked at NB Power Head Office and I always appreciated our times of comradeship and discussions on the general topics of the day. He certainly was a pleasant and mild mannered man. May the consolation and comfort of God be upon especially his wife and his family during this time.

With deepest sympathy and love for the family!
The emptiness that you are probably feeling in your life and in your heart right now are the fond memories and love that you shared with Gerald, Dad and/or Gramps that will accompany him on his journey.
He will be sadly missed but he does have a legacy that will live on in the hearts of many who had the privilege to have him in their lives. His love and devotion to his family was unconditional, his smile and optimism was contagious, his enthusiasm to tell stories (even if you didn’t know if he was pulling your leg or not ) and his mighty “royal snap”.
Miss Stella, Keirra and Kaden, you have a very special job for the next number of years. Make sure you ask lots of questions and want stories told about your Great Gramps because he was an INCREDIBLE man and his life should be shared.
Millie, Gary, Jennifer, Krista, Katie, Craig, Deanna, Lorna, Keith, Doug, Ellen and Ardith, my love and sympathy goes out to you and your families.

I like everyone am so saddened today. I always loved to visit, hear him laugh, listen to and tell stories. Of course playing cribbage was a wonderful memory. Aunt Millie and I managed to win against Dad & Uncle Gerald during one such challenge. It was a cherished memory. I always asked Dad how he did vs his brother after he/they visited. Also he told Dad when was contemplating retiring years ago "you know Bill, there are worse things than working you know". Indeed there are. I/we will truly miss our Uncle and those wonderful times. Love to Aunt Millie, Ardith, Lorna & Doug & all the family from Ralph, Son Ryan, Larry, our Mum Eileen too.

Being Gerald’s successor he was a great mentor, teacher and supervisor. He taught me everything he knew about the HVAC systems at NB power Head office. I enjoyed working with Gerald and wished he could have stayed on longer. I know that he enjoyed his Retirement with his Wife, family and friends.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
