Obituary of Ralph Bennett

The passing of Ralph Harold Bennett formerly of Cross Creek, NB, occurred on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 19, 1932 in Cross Creek, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and Estella (Hossack) Bennett. Ralph was a farmer and had a passion for electronics and enjoyed problem solving. Everything was done in his own way, on his own time. Ralph was a member of Saint Paul’s Anglican Church in Cross Creek and served as a treasurer and warden. As well he was a representative of Synod. “Unkel” is survived by his nieces and nephew, Carolyn Currie (Rod), Mark Foreman (Dawna) and Rachael Anderson (Tony); great nieces, Kate Currie, Kim Currie and Baylee Anderson; aunt, Pearl Boyce; brother-in-law, Bill Palmer. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Amy Palmer and nephew, Michael Foreman. A Memorial Service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Cross Creek, NB on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Wendy Amos-Binks officiating. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Reception will take place at St. Thomas Parish Hall, Stanley, NB following burial. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Just Friends Food Bank or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
