Dear Helen/Greg/Family. Sending our sincere condolences to you and your family in the passing of your Dad/Grampy. I will always remeber your kind words of your Dad when we went to see the "King's Speech". As you gather to celebrate the life of this loved one, I am sure there will be lots of laughter mixed with tears as good memories are shared. Take care. God Bless. xo Judy ...Class of '67

To Helen and the Hossack family;
On behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of Nashwaak Villa, please accept not only our most sincere message of sympathy at this difficult time, but also our thanks for entrusting Berties care to us. He was truly a gentle soul and gave us such pleasure with his music, which he eventually shared outside of the confines of his room. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you gather fond memories and share the stories that are now your treasures to hold in your hearts forever.

We will truly miss your dad at the Villa!! He wasn't with us very long but he did entertain us with his harmonica when he was feeling up to it and really enjoyed the entertainment that came into the Villa.
Thank you for allowing us to look after your dad.
Patsy also wanted to let you know that she was thinking of your family and all the visits that she used to have with your mum and dad.

The twinkle is still in his eyes in the picture. How he loved a good joke when it was played on you. I occasionally dropped in to the house as I was passing by just to spend a few miutes with him...and listen to his stories....almost as good as Dad's were! Of course we know that he is in a better place and his memory will always be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him. (Actually he and Dad were the same age when they passed.) May God be with all of the family in the coming weeks. Sincerely, Glen & Doris

My memories of Grampy include; him working in the garden, baking the most delicious bread, long walks up the road, playing cards at the table, watching hockey games, listening to his music in the room. And he always had treats for the kids when we came...cookies, chocolates, candy. Miss you Grampy. Lots of love Tammy
