I first met Ernie in Calgary during his visit with his son, Steven in the early 90's and was instantly drawn to him as though I had known him for a very long time.
I am very glad to have made the trek to Fredericton last summer to see his smile one last time and will remember it, moving forward.
My family and I will miss him dearly.
RIP, Ernie as you embark on your next journey with Ina!

Our condolences to Ernie's family.
Ernie was a tremendous worker for his Nashwaaksis community and the driving force behind many recreational projects in Nashwaaksis.
Ernie was sincere and dedicated to what he believed in and could be counted on to look after every detail on any project that held his interest.
We will miss Ernie.

I am out of the country so cannot attend the services, please know that I am thinking about you all. Ernie kept me busy, dragging me into many of his projects and picking my brains about how government programs worked. I thoroughly enjoyed him and know that he will be missed.
