Dear Margaret and family,
Caroline and I are saddened by the news (from Sam York), that Dick has died. We haven't seen him or you for a number of years at class reunions but we were told he wasn't well. You will all miss him, as he was a 'live wire' when he was a student & after it seems. We will remember him with affection.

When writing about Dr. Snow for our Hall of Fame book, I discovered that he was all that was said of him and more. One of his most important traits was teaching others to enjoy sports fishing and all it entails. He was a role model for us all in ensuring the next generation embraced the world in a healthy way. He will be missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss!
I have many fond memories of Dr. Snow. He was our family Dr. from when he first set up practice in Saint John until I moved to Ontario. He continued to provide excellent care to the rest of my family for many years...Melanson/Bodaly/Hatt families.
I was once very ill and my husband called him and he did a housecall shortly after. He was heading out to get a Christmas tree..all dressed for the outdoors and he came and admitted me to the hospital..Hope he managed to get a tree after. He always showed such care to his patients.
I became a Nurse and also worked with him in Labor and Delivery and found him excellent there as well.
I also was a hockey fan and enjoyed watching him play for the Saint John team..Mooseheads (I think). I remember him as an excellent hockey player!!
My thoughts are with you at this time

Dear Margaret and Family: I first met Dick at a UNB Freshman Meet and Greet Street Party in downtown Fredericton in Sept. 1947. He was with his Hampton friend Ev Smith and the 3 of us sort of hung out together for the evening and Dick and I have been friends ever since. We were both students at UNB and later at Dal when Dick was in Med school and I was in Law School. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and his family. Please accept my sincere condolences

We are thinking of you all and remembering that we are family and the moments our lives have touched over the years. Our parents were married in the Hampton home and Susan was Mum's maid-of-honour; two beautiful young women. Isidro came to visit and reassure us when Dad was in Moncton Hospital. He calmed us all at a sad time. And, of course we have all enjoyed Aunt Dot's chocolate cake at every family birthday..it's simply the best. Love to you all.. Jill, Ken, Jeff and Patrick

"Can Robin come out and play?"
Dr. Dick would call and ask Anita if Robin would like to go with him fishing for trout at Bogle Lake. They enjoyed many afternoons there.
Robin treasures the walking stick Dr. Dick made him to navigate the slippery rocks while fishing on the Miramichi.
Our deepest sympathies to Margaret and all of the family.

My condolences to Dr. Snow's family. I was told that I was one of the first babies that Dr. Snow delivered in 1959, and was named after him (Richard). His father was my family's Dr. until retirement, when Dick took over for him and remained my doctor until the 1990's.

I was saddened to hear of Dick's passing. My Dad, Charley Williston, was a friend & teammate & often spoke fondly of Dick. I recall seeing Dr. Snow a few times in my childhood, but one time was especially memorable. I had a mysterious rash so Dad made a phone call & said "Let's go see Dick Snow" & off we went right up to the Union Club where Dick was attending a dinner. He took me to an empty room, stood me under a chandelier, had a look, handed Dad a prescription & off we went - I was all fixed up! My thoughts & prayers are with your family.
