Our deepest sympathies to you Paul, Kate, and Michael and your families. It was with the deepest sorrow that I learned of Jeanne's passing. I spent yesterday, through teary eyes, remembering the many happy times we shared in Churchill Falls, visiting with our families, skiing, and just laughing. I especially recall the visits to our cottage in PEI, to the camp opposite Pirate's Cove, and the trip to Maine with Debbie and her mother. Jeanne was a truly beautiful person inside and out. I was truly blessed to be able to call her friend. Take comfort in the love she shared with you, the many memories you have, and in the knowledge that many others also share your grief. We may not be present in person, but we are present in spirit.
God bless you all.

Dear Paul, Kate and Andrew, Mikala, Anna and Noah, Michael and Meagan, Maya and Hannah and the Brooks family,
What a sad, sad time for all of you and those who knew and loved Cousin Jeanne. I can't ever remember when Jeanne wasn't a huge part of my life. We went to grade school together, met at the Rexall Drugstore after church for milkshakes and giggles and spent hours at the playground. When she moved to Rothesay, I felt as if I had lost a sister and best friend. But true to her word, Aunt Libby faithfully made the trip to Millinocket each summer so I could spend a week in Canada with my cousins. It was the highlight of my growing up years. Later, Jeanne and I kept in touch through phone calls and mail. When she moved back from Labrador we started visiting one another again. I loved spending time with "Jeanne Beanie" as we affectionately called her. She could tell a story like nobody else! I couldn't wait for a text, video or call from her telling me about the exploits of her brothers, and then of her much loved grandchildren. She was all about family...not just her immediate relatives but the entire family tree. I have learned so much of the Pound/Reynolds history from her. She was always interesting and I once told her if we put a hat on a tree she would talk to it!!! She always looked for the best in everyone and laughed heartily at anything. Over the years, I have had many of an occasion to introduce her to friends and each one of them considered her their friend after spending time with her. She was just like that---easy to love. Jeanne was devoted to her mother and often remarked how wonderful she was--I would remark that she was just like Aunt Libby and that she had raised a "mini Libby" ---Kate. I can honestly say some of the very best times of my life included Jeanne, and for that I will be eternally grateful. Ever since she fell ill, I don't believe a day has passed that I have not cried over her. Now I realize, I was crying for myself because of the huge void she has left in my life now that she's gone. No more hour long phone calls, weekends spent shopping and laughing, going to camp and just being together. She was a strong, determined, hardworking, altruistic, spiritual woman who we will forever love and miss. Fly high with the angels, Cousin Jeanne
Lovingly, Carrie Ann and David
