Aunt Bertina and Family
My sincere condolences on the passing of Uncle Chick. Uncle Chick and my dad, Walter, had such a strong bond as brothers and as veterans of World War 2. My fondest memories are of Uncle Chick's visits to the cottage in Cape Breton with lots of card games, horseshoes, lobster dinners and of course the odd drink or two.
Sending my deepest sympathy to all the family.
David

I am sad to hear about this tragedy. I am sure that God cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our dead loved ones will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29) Thus, while you await the Paradise where peace and happiness will flourish; where no one will be sick and die; may you lean on God to give you the strength you need in the days ahead.
