Life Legacy The passing of Vivian “Bizz” Patricia Savage of Fredericton, NB wife of the late William Savage occurred on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on February 29, 1932 in Doaktown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Holmes) Murray. She was a member of Gibson Memorial United Church. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the VPH and then the DECRH, retiring as the Director of Nursing at the DVA. Vivian is survived by her son, Ken Savage (Wanda) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) and Scott Savage; sisters, Jean Betts of Fredericton, NB and Mercy Pond of Moncton, NB; brother, Raysh Murray of Fredericton, NB; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Rae Strachan, Mona Ross and Vera Braun; brothers, Donald, Bob, Bill and Bonnie Murray. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 3-7 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Gibson Memorial United Church on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian MacDonald officiating. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be the previous nursing staff of DVA. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton or the Gibson Memorial United Church.
