Obituary of David DuPlessis

DuPlessis, David Lawrence The passing of David Lawrence DuPlessis of Keswick Ridge, NB occurred on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 30, 1932 in Macnaquac-Jewett’s Mills, NB, he was the son of the late Harvey and Blanche (Moore) DuPlessis. David was a farmer. He was a member of Mactaquac Baptist Church and Keswick Ridge Historical Society. David enjoyed exploring his family history, loved to read his Bible and pray; he was very knowledgeable in all things gardening and liked photography. David is survived by his sister, Hazel B. Phillips and brother, Dr. Dale M. DuPlessis; sisters in law, Muriel DuPlessis and Aileen DuPlessis; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Marion Wallis, Pauline Armstrong and Helen Hicks; brothers, Fred, Frank, Johnson, Charles, Paul, Lloyd and Bruce DuPlessis. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Mactaquac Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Keswick Ridge Historical Society.
