Obituary of Anne Williams

The passing of Anne Dowlen Williams of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Lawney Williams occurred on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. Born on September 14, 1927 in Devon, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Hazlett) Bolster. She worked as a Stenographer for Canada Life. Anne was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church; Lower St. Mary’s Women’s Institute; the Red Hat Society and a former member of the Silver Dolphins. One of Anne's greatest pleasures in life was her grandchildren, who brought her great joy in each and everything they did. Anne is survived by her daughter, Kelly Nicoll (Stephen) of New Maryland, NB; grandchildren, Kristy, Dylan and Patrick; sisters, Donna Rickard and Sandra Bolster both of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 1-2 pm immediately followed by the Memorial Service with Rev. Canon Kevin Stockall officiating. A reception will follow at the church. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Anne's family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given by the staff of Hospice House Fredericton, their care, attention and pure desire to caring was deeply appreciated. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Hospice House. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
