Obituary of Lorna Fraser

The passing of Lorna Millicent (Hunter) Fraser of Parkland Shannex-Thomas Hall, Fredericton, NB, and formerly of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, wife of the late Ernest E. Fraser, occurred on Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born at Bloomfield Ridge, NB on August 13, 1925, daughter of the late Elbridge and Frances (Hunter) Hunter. She was a faithful Christian serving her local church and had a great love for those sharing the gospel around the world. She is survived by her children, Ernest Fraser of Victoria, BC and his children, Ben Fraser and his wife, Bora Sung, Anna Fraser (Matt Reid); Albert Fraser and his wife Barbara of Rothesay, NB and their son, Adam Fraser; Sheila A. Culberson and her husband, Hazen of Woodstock, NB and their daughter, Meredith Culberson (T. J. Pisani). She is survived by one sister, Brenda Dorcas of Fredericton, NB, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Ernest E. Fraser (2008); sister, Shirley (Allen) Rowan; brothers, Claude, Waldron (Rita), Woodrow, Cleveland and Rowan; also predeceased by sister-in-law, Ruby (Archie) MacDonald and brother-in-law, Ottie (Vera) Fraser. She is resting at York Funeral Home, Fredericton, NB with public visitation on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 3:00 pm from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Pat McAloon officiating. Interment to follow at the Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to the Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery or NBBI.
