Obituary of Alice Waldron

Alice “Alma” Waldron passed away after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, with her friends by her side. Born on February 8, 1933 in St. Stephen, NB, she was the daughter of the late Colin and Grace (Hyslop) Waldron. Alma was a teacher with district 25, teaching math at Harold Peterson Junior High for many years. Alma is survived by her special friend, Carole of Fredericton, NB and Carole’s daughter, Lorie (Danny) Kelly of Peterborough, ON; sister in law, Shirley Waldron of St. Stephen, NB; nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Vance, Wilmot and Leigh Waldron. Although there will be no services by request; a private interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the charity of the donor’s choice.
