Obituary of Terrence Goguen

We regret to announce the unexpected death of Terrence Joseph Goguen on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Terry was born in Moncton, NB, graduated from Moncton High School in 1970 and moved to Fredericton in 1971 to attend UNB. He was employed by the City of Fredericton Fire Department for 28 years, retiring as Captain in 2005. New Brunswick salmon will breathe easier knowing Terry’s many flyrods have been laid to rest. An avid outdoorsman, Terry spent most of his life fishing and hunting the New Brunswick rivers and woodlands. He was a skilled fly tyer. In earlier years, he competed in baseball, fastball, rugby, hockey and football, and in later years he supported his favoured sports teams from the comfort of home. Terry is survived by Tara Savage and extended family. He was predeceased by his mother, Rosanna Mary (Roy) Goguen of Dieppe, NB. By request, there will be no visitation or funeral.
