Obituary of Roger Blair Crisp

Please share a memory of Roger to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

The passing of Roger Blair Crisp of Nashwaak Village, New Brunswick, husband of the late Marilyn Joyce Crisp, occurred on December 26, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 26, 1943, in Middleton, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Thorton Crisp and Kitty (Bezanson) Crisp.

Roger was a lifelong member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church. He was so devoted to his faith that in his later years he decided to go on not just one, but several mission trips to Bolivia. His passion for teaching didn’t only apply to teaching the word of God, but to his everyday life. He was a well-loved shop teacher at Fredericton high and made a positive impact on the lives of many students that walked through his classroom door.

Keeping busy in life, Roger was known to be a bit of a jack of all trades. He always had something on the go and was known be a machinist, a mechanic, a gardener, a beekeeper, and much, much more. When he wasn’t dabbling in a new hobby, he could be found with the Old flywheel guys antique engine club restoring  his newest engine.

Roger is survived by sons Andrew Crisp, Byron Crisp (Gina), Stephen Crisp (Jessica); granddaughters Emma, Mackenzie, Madison, Emily, Naneek, and Blair; grandsons Declyn and Keenan; Great Grandchildren Ella, Libby, Finley; sister Sandra Lilly (George); Sister-in-law Janet Jewett (Greg); nieces Amy, Tammy, Becky (Ryan), Jennifer, Sarah (Bilal); Nephews Bradley, John David, Timothy, Mark, Matthew
