Nancy was predeceased by her parents, and two siblings, Iris Martin and Fred Martin.
She leaves to remember and mourn her younger sister, Gwyn Martin of Moncton, as well as several cousins.
Nancy was educated at Warneford School, graduated in 1970 from Hampton High School, and studied at Modern Business College in Saint John, NB, and McGill University, Montreal, where she studied theatre and education.
Over the years she was employed at the UNB Law School, and for decades was private legal secretary in Saint John and in London, England where she emigrated in 1992 after marrying a happy Londoner. During these years Nancy became devoted stepmother to Caroline Jobling, and to Douglas Jobling.
She retuned to her beloved New Brunswick and made her home in Fredericton.
Throughout her life she loved reading, knitting, and cats. Nancy was a friend to many, and often carried out acts of kindness, often not knowing the meaningful impact of her actions on the lives of others. Nancy was well loved and shared encouragement and kindness to many.
She will be remembered for her whip smart intelligence and her dry and hearty sense of humor.
