Obituary of Louie Ralph Clark

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Louie Ralph Clark, husband of Avis (Vezina) Clark of Fredericton, on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton.  Born on October 5, 1945 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late Byron and Christina (Ross) Clark. Louie was a member of the Black watch as well as 2RCR and served two peacekeeping tours in Cyprus. He worked for Springhill Construction for many years as a job superintendant. He loved a good joke and was always playing tricks on somebody. Louie moved into the Veterans Health Unit in March, 2023 after a short stay in hospital. On the morning of November 15, 2024, Louie slipped away peacefully in his sleep, safe in the arms of Jesus.

 

In addition to his loving wife, Louie is survived by his daughter, Michelle Chamberlain (David Landry); sons, Troy Clark (Jackie) and Ross Clark; grandchildren, Wyatt, Tyra, Kierra and Brinley Clark, Abigail and Mitchell Clark, Breea and Ryan Chamberlain; sister, Darlene Pyne (Larry).


Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mark Clark (Angie).


Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton .  Visitation will take place at Serenity Free Will Baptist Church , 260 Serenity Lane , Fredericton , on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 1-2 pm and will be followed directly by a Memorial Service at 2 pm.  Interment will be in Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery . The family would like to offer a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Veterans Health Unit for their compassionate care over the past two years. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Serenity Freewill Baptist Church.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
