My sincere condolences to the family. Peter was a cherished friend, a devoted family member, and a true gentleman. He embodied kindness and strength, offering a quiet presence that brought comfort to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Peter was a tremendous source of support when I needed it the most. His encouragement gave me the strength I needed to get through this most difficult time.
In a world that often feels chaotic, he stood as a beacon of grace and humility. His friendships were deep and meaningful, and he commanded respect not through words, but through his actions and the way he treated others. He was a true friend—loyal, trustworthy, and always present.
You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Peter was a colleague, mentor, friend and I considered him, family. He meant the world to me and my family. His help, guidance and kindness he shown me and my family over the past 40 years was well appreciated. During his retirement I came to know he on a more personnel basis. We would spend countless hours taking of his trials and tribulations, as well as his youth and his family which he loved dearly. I am better off because he was part of my life. He will be missed but not forgotten. May you find peace at rest. Your friend forever.

My deepest condolences to Pat, Tammy, their families and all of Peters family and friends.
I first met Peter through his daughter Kim and one of my first memories was going to a car race in Gary where Peter was on the pit crew. He let me get into the car and my love of stock car racing was born.
I have wonderful memories of his visits to Toronto to see Kim and to the South Shore of Nova Scotia where he grew up and many, many more.
We kept in touch throughout the years, and I will miss him greatly. I will miss his advice, his knowledge on many subjects and mostly his friendship.
Rest in Peace Peter ... Love Sue xxoo

I first met Peter in September 1964 when we started class at the Nova Scotia Land Survey Institute. We graduated in 1966 and started work the same day at the Water Resources Branch of the Department of Energy Mines and Resources. We had a long career and countless adventures together, both at and after work. Peter was not just my coworker, he was a treasured friend. Rest in peace my friend.
