Percy Dean Anthony passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on August 22, 1951, to the late Joseph Anthony and Amelia Pearce in Robert’s Arm, Newfoundland, Percy was a proud Newfoundlander who cherished his family and his faith.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol (Kenney) Anthony; his children, Alisha and Jesse (Stephanie); granddaughter, Olive; and is predeceased by his son, Brett. Percy is also survived by his two sisters, Verna Decker (Melvin) and Joan Wells; his four brothers, Keith (Trudy), Charl (Bonnie), Andy (Peggy), and Stanley (Ruby); as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Percy was a beam of light to everyone around him, known for his unwavering love, humour, kindness, and strong faith in the Lord. His family and faith were his greatest sources of pride.

Visitation will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11 am followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm and reception to follow. A private family interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery, Douglas, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada.
