Obituary of Nancy Gayle Stitham

It's with heavy hearts that the family of Nancy Gayle Stitham of Douglas, New Brunswick, announces her passing which ocurred on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 4, 1951 in Douglas, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Phylllis (Edmondson) and the late George Merrithew.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Victor Stitham; son, Jamie Stitham of Douglas, New Brunswick; sisters, Faye Walker (Peter) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jane Shepard (Wesley) of Burtt's Corner, New Brunswick and Phyllis Turnbull of Fredericton, New Brunswick; brothers, John Merrithew (Sara) of Douglas, New Brunsiwck and Ron Merrithew (Sue) of Fredericton, New Brunswick. 

Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her brother, Billy Merrithew; and sister, Angel Hughson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredricton, New Brunswick. At the family's request, there will be no public services.
