We are very sorry to hear about Garth....we all knew Garth through hockey since we were were in minor hockey and Father and Mother kept in contact through hockey, old-timers hockey and the events that followed them. Each time to Fredericton for some event with Father and Mother and at Windsor Court I would see him and have a chat about hockey and the fact he and a couple of others on that team could be a bit rough... he laughed and we enjoyed the conversations. His contribution to the community through his business cannot be understated, in fact I think there are a couple of State-Farm towels still kicking around from old timer hockey days.
We always felt welcomed around the entire family where ever we were....
Our condolences.

Gaynel, Kim, Wendy - and ALL MEMBERS of Garth's Family -
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Words just cannot begin to express our deep feelings of sadness and loss we (and countless others) feel with Garth's passing after so many years of health struggles, always having his beloved Gaynel by his side.
What treasured memories we are so very blessed with through our longtime friendship - our sons playing hockey/golfing as kids/our families camping trips/ with special friends and their children/the Old Timers Hockey bus trips/our gatherings as neighbours on the Carlisle Road/our anniversary celebrations (we were married on April 12/Garth and Gaynel on April 19 the year before us) - we lived life to the fullest - having fun, doing simple things, making precious memories to hold in our hearts for the rest of our days.
In difficult times we are reminded of what really matters in life and just how lucky we are!! Rest in Peace, Garth - we surely share in the tremendous loss you all bear - and we will continue to hold you in our thoughts and prayers. Sending our love to all,
- Most sincerely sent, Shirley and Ceddy Munn.

So many good times... so many memories as our families intertwined together over the years. Trips south, hockey games, dancing, YMCA and business friends... All wonderful memories.
We can only imagine the banter going on between Doug and Garth now and would love to hear that conversation.
To those left behind, the heartache of missing a loved one can only be soothed by the circle of loving memories of better days that will never fade & our thoughts and prayers are will you all as you walk this road ahead. And we pray the arms of Jesus wrap around you Gaynel to give you the peace that transcends all understanding.

Dear Gaynel, Kim and family
Please accept my sincere condolences on Garth's passing. It was my great privilege to know Garth in his role as a community leader and a supportive of several northside junior hockey teams. His support was extraordinary: his commitment and passion for the young men he supported was remarkable. Last year I had the privileged opportunity to thank him for all that he did for me and the young players on the north side junior caps. I was privileged to know and learn from Garth. Again please accept my sincere condolences

Just over twenty years ago Florence and I had a new cottage built at Dykeman’s Cove on Grand Lake.
