I just heard of Tom's passing and I am deeply saddened for his loss. I worked closely with Tom for 3 years and enjoyed our many daily conversations.
When I saw him earlier this year he couldn't wait to show off pictures of his granddaughter and we caught up discussing the joy of his retirement.
My deepest condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences and hugs to the family. I always enjoyed chatting with him when I worked with him at Chalmers and even after I left I still enjoyed seeing and talking to him when I visited the Chalmers. He was an awesome manager and had such a big heart. He spoke about his family with such pride and his face would light up when talking about them. He will be missed by many. RIP Tom

I am truly saddened by the passing of Tom. Definitely much too soon. I had the pleasure of working with Tom until (my retirement) at DECRH. His kindness, respect and caring for people was inspirational especially during difficult times in healthcare. He was always supportive of his staff and a mentor to others. At our manager get togethers in the cafeteria, his calmness gave us balance and laughter in getting us through our challenging days. One of the good guys who will be missed by many.

I’m very shocked and saddened that Tom is no longer with you. He was a very kind and caring gentleman who you could always rely on. I worked with him for many years at DECRH / River Valley Health. Most times he’d start with a straight face but ultimately ended with a beautiful smile. He touched many and will be missed. My sincere condolences to Tom’s family. RIP Tom.

Please accept our sincere condolences.
In these moments, when there are no words, know that the ones we love remain beside us, now and always. If there wasn’t so much love, it wouldn’t be this hard to say goodbye.

Not knowing of the battle Tom had been fighting, it was a real kicker to hear of his passing. While we missed Tom at our Bradford family reunion last July, we celebrated his reason for not being there, as he welcomed his first grandchild. My memories of Tom was always in a celebration of family, a legacy of Charlie and Stella and our grandparents Don and Cora. Whether it was the overnight stays with them, weddings, anniversaries, celebrations of lives for those we'd lost, or a chance meeting anytime, Tom was for us a beam of light, with every encounter uplifting. We'll miss these times and Tom, now more than ever. May it be a comfort for those closest to him, that many share in your loss and love for Tom.

Our deepest sympathy to your family at this sad time. It has been many many years since I have seen Tom or his siblings. I remember as a child when Uncle Charlie, Stella and the cousins (The City Folks) would come down to Stoney Creek to visit us (Country Folks). It's funny how the world seemed so much bigger back then and life was simpler, I guess that is why those memories are so special.

Karen and I are in such shock and sadness to learn of Tom’s illness and sudden passing.
We first met Tom during his years at Ponderosa Steak House, and then worked with him at DECH for many years. He was trying to introduce Chrystal and our Krista to the work world - a major challenge!!
He was a good friend, a good manager (no, a leader!)….he brought out the best in his staff and created strong teams.
But most of all, he loved his family and his time with friends.
Chrystal and his girls - you were the light of his life (well, until Edie came along, at least!)!! We know you have a world of memories to hold you up, but know as well that we send loving thoughts and sincere condolences and will be there to support you however we can.
Love, Karen and Bill

Chrystal & girls our hearts are broken for you and words simply are not enough to express how we felt about Tom. He was so much to everyone and like the quote he packed a lot of memories along the way and will be forever in our hearts. Our efficient Travel agent, best traveler ever, financial wizard (hope I retain some of that knowledge) and hostess with the mostess, his legacy will live on in us all. Fond memories will comfort and help you through the difficult times. Until we meet again my friend.

I worked with Tom as his assistant manager for close to 17 years. He was a 2nd Dad to me, like you guys always wanting to make sure you were doing things write. On our trips out of town Tom loved a good meal, a beer (gunisse) not sure how you drank it. I had May strange calls from Tom? They were from Kayla locking her Keys in the trunk of her car, to getting a hornets nest out of garage, fixing his pool. It was never the same after you left. My coffee partner was gone, my go to person to talk too and vent before I took it out on someone else. I wish we could have got together to talk. because I really missed those chats with you. Until we meet again buddy. Terry
