When I reflect on our early days as young teenagers living at the Point, I can more appreciate Ron's friendship and example. He never smoked or drank. We had some good times going down to their hunting camp on the train and back. Ron was a big eater as a teenager, I remember him going to his summer job packing a half a loaf of bread sandwiches. I guess he was working pretty hard. It has been a joy for me and Maureen to maintain a connection with him and Annie over all these years. I will miss that connection but will maintain hope knowing that he is waiting for us on the other side. Ray and Maureen Hanson

Dear Annie, daughters and sisters of Ronnie. We were very saddened to hear of Ronnie’s passing. Larry and I remember how much fun we had together with Ronnie and Annie dancing with the Oromocto Pioneers. Ronnie, sometimes would be dancing in the opposite direction of everyone else which would make us all laugh but it never seemed to discourage him from dancing (even when it happened again). We miss those good old days and are grateful we had that time together. Hang on to your memories and he’ll always be in your hearts. God bless.

The Conley Family so sort to hear about your loss . He was such a kind man and good plumber. Every time I would call him. He would say you are the one from Canada Street. I said yes he said I know where to go. Would give me a time and he was here right on time.,And a memory of Mary Brown. When she wanted Ron she would drive down to the house and get Ron. He would go up and fix the plumping. Can’t get them like him now days. We all have precious memories of Ron

Saddened to hear of your passing, Uncle Ron. I have many cherished memories of my godfather, who always called my ´Sonnie´. Many childhood memories in the 80´s and 90´s with visits at his house and many summers down at the lake, one of his happy places. Was always genuinely curious and interested in how you were, and loved to share stories about his adventures in the woods hunting. He took me on my first hunting trip and the memory is still there. I loved hearing about his trips to Europe in retirement, especially his Italy trip and the adventures he had there. I think he might have even done some plumbing while there. That was Ron!! Rest in peace Ron, and thanks for your generosity over the years to all your family.

Each time that I would visit Huck (Ron Conley) I would ask him how he was. His response: 'Oh good, I haven't got away yet, I'm still here'!
.
Well you finally did get away to your heavenly home. You were certainly loved here on earth and will be dearly missed. You won't be forgotten as there are many stories to be shared. Rest in peace, as your work here on earth is done.
