I would like to extend my Sincerest thoughts, and condolences, and Prayers to the surviving members of the family of Esther Mitchel. I remember her from a very young age when I lived, and was raised in Marysville. I would often find myself down at her sister's home on Fisher Avenue and she would drop by. Her sister Julie was, and remains very dear to my heart as she was like another mother to me. May the God of all consolation strengthen all of the family, relatives, friends, and all who were made better by her presence and fondest memories retained of her.

When I think of Aunt Esther, I will remember again my childhood home, and after more than 50 years apart, our joyful reunion, and our correspondence over the next many years. While winter raged outside, we enjoyed cups of warm tea or coffee in our respective homes, chatted at length, and when spring finally arrived there were birds, new growth, and later, lovely flowers to enjoy. I have some of our collective history now, but more, I have warm memories of an Aunt who shared my early childhood, and mourned the loss of our little family. She never forgot us. I am grateful that we were able to share those last years, content to have finally found each other again. And I am so pleased she was able to meet my only son Matthew, who also remembers her warm smile and kind invitation to her table. Sundays, sitting near the phone that will not ring, I will think of you and remember…always…a kind and gentle soul…my Auntie Esther The Fallen Limb  A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small.
