Dear Jack and Family,
I was saddened to see Barb’s death on the website. Jack, . Do you remember when we worked at Rocca Group in Saint John in the 1970’s? I can across a few Polaroids of us the other day. You visited Barb at her apartment in Saint John when I met you. Our birthday’s were a day apart. I see she has not changed much, looking at her picture. She was so clever. I ran into her one day when I was in Fredericton at the old Ponderosa Steak House. It was wonderful catching up at that time. I see she was married and had 3 children plus grandchildren. Hope she did not suffer for too long before her death. My Condolences to you all.
Virginia (Adcock) Brown (although she called me “Rabbit”, my bowling nickname).

I worked with Barb at ACOA in the 90s and she was a wonderful person to work with. She had a curiosity about the various inner workings of our government department so she went on to other jobs within the agency, always being appreciated for her interest and excellent work ethic. She made many friends during her tenure there. Unfortunately we lost direct contact as the years have passed. My sympathies to Gary and her family.

To Gary and Family - Brian and I both send our most sincere condolences.
In the years I worked with Barb, I never heard her say a bad word about anyone, and no one ever said a bad word about her. In the workplace, and in our social activities (in particular, our RIPA group), Barb was always a sweet and gentle presence. In many of my personal trials, Barb always had time to listen and console, which was appreciated beyond words. I held her in very high esteem and considered myself very lucky to have such a good friend. Barb will be someone's guardian angel, I know, and they too will be very lucky to have her.

I worked with Barb for many years. She was bright, beautiful, smart, creative and ambitious. If memory serves me correctly, she worked diligently to get her Social Work degree while maintaining her daytime job. She was bilingual, having completed French language training. She served in multiple positions while working with the federal govt. She was a real go-getter. We still maintained our friendship following our retirements. I will miss her. My heartfelt condolences to Gary and her family.

When I first met Barb I was afraid of her -
no thanks to practical jokes from Dan & Jim.
I was sure she was sizing me up to see if I was good enough for Jim.
We soon became fast friends , sharing lots of laughs ... and lots of desserts !
In these last 3o plus years , she became an encourager of my life in Christ for which I will be forever grateful.
