Uncle Pat was near and dear to my heart, sharing so many fun times and that wicked sense of humor he had. From Red Cross times in the early 70's where he would drive me back to where the Red Cross crew were bunking after the square dance group. He always reminded me that the crew would look out and think who is that man Denice was necking with?? Ha!!
When Rod came on the scene 50 years ago, he was included in so many adventures with Uncle Pat & Aunt Helen and my parents, and when our Dads were on their own, we spent quite a bit of time together. Always lots of laughter and love.
Uncle Pat, you will be missed.
Love Denice & Rod

Our heartfelt condolences go out to you all during this time of grief and celebration of Uncle Pats life. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunities in my life to spend quality time with your Dad and Mom Aunt Helen. Pat like so many of the Rileys had such a great sense of humour and loved to have fun. Th first time I ever got behind the wheel of a vehicle was in Pats old truck back when I was probably 10 yrs old, and wow it was quite an experience. We all grew up together as families and had so many great times together. I will always cherish the great times I shared with my uncle Pat, Rest In Peace dear uncle.

Randy Riley and Family,
Over the years I had the privilege of getting to know Pat both as a friend and a residential builder. I was always impressed with his great personality and the high standards he exhibited in his personal work. Tina and I had the privilege of purchasing one of Pat’s houses in the early 70’s and were always so proud of it’s quality.
Pat was an outstanding individual and I’m sure will be much missed by his family.

Pat was one of the most precious people that entered my life many years ago. I so enjoyed those Sunday evenings with you and your family speaking about different faiths, beliefs, music and God, - always enjoying it with tea and lovely treats Helen would make. Thank you, Pat for your beautiful gift of friendship and sharing your love and kindness. I treasure all those moments we spent together.

My memories of Pat will be cherished forever. Growing up I felt like I had extra parents as Pat & Helen, my parent and their amazing group of friends were together often either square dancing or camping. Mark and I were with this group often as we were the young ones.
My condolences to Randy, Peter and Mark and their families. Love you all.

Dear Family Riley,
Thinking of you all with deep love as you journey through this very difficult time. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Pat. My favourite ones are those when he came to supper with Papa and I and would sit at the table sharing their stories of growing up in England to times on the farm in Fredericton Junction, and, most especially their war stories. I'd be sitting between them with each one holding my hand as if they'd never let go.They'd keep me there for hours at a time and though many stories would be heard time after time, I never grew tired of hearing them.. The love they shared was so very precious and I'll always be grateful. Now you are all reunited in heaven. What a gathering that must be!!! God bless each and every family member. much love and prayers ... Sharon

Matthew and I had the privilege to live in Fredericton for five years while he studied at University. One of our very special memories is our time at Pat and Helen’s on Sunday evenings after church. We felt so blessed to be included in apple pie night and spend time laughing and talking around the table with so many amazing people. We were so far away from our family and friends back home but we felt like we had “family” in Fredericton because of Pat and Helen! They also set such a beautiful example of loving each other in their marriage and everyone around them. Miss them!

Dear all Riley families. A great loss you have. What a great legacy and blessing Mr. Riley has been to his family and our Country. Thank you Mr. Riley. As I grew up in Tracy my dad knew Mr. Riley when they were children. My dad spoke often of the Riley family and farm. A house sits right now on the Bank of that River in Tracy. When I moved to Douglas NB, Mr. Riley and I would chat as he and I and my dogs would meet. He always commented how well behaved our dogs were. We both seemed amazed that our lives took full circle in that our common denominator was Tracy, NB. My sincere condolences to all of you. Louanne Tracy

To the Riley family: sending my deepest condolences on your loss of your dad and grandfather. Mr. Riley was a regular customer at Home hardware on Main Street years ago and such a pleasant man. He got such a big kick out of my then teen ager daughter stopping in on her lunch break and telling me she loved me on her way out. He would remind me of that whenever I met up with him. Hugs.
