Please accept my sincere condolences upon Mr. Duguay’s passing. He was a wonderful teacher and coach. My JV basketball year with Mr. Duguay was a highlight of my high school experience. Not only did our team improve our skills, but with Mr. Duguay we learned to consider leadership and community as we navigated team dynamics. I’ll always be grateful for Mr. Duguay’s encouragement and time. His is a soul worth celebrating. xo

Dear Shirley, Shawn, Michael, Kim and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of Terry. To say these simple words seems too small to reflect my sadness at learning this news of your loss. Still today your family will come up in conversation; usually by me remembering some funny or touching moment we experienced as a family while you were all part of our lives. While the “contract” was child care our excitement as three girls when Shawn would be dropped off and when he would stay for a sleepover was real and all those moments of shared love were amazing. Julius never really knew you all but he could recount those stories many years later which is a testament to what you all mean to us. May your love and memories sustain you in the days ahead. Take care of each other.
Roxanne (nee Barclay) and Julius Tarjan

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to his wife Shirley and family. I worked at Harvey Studios for 20 years and got to know Terry when he came on board as a school day photographer. He was so easy to work with and always had that grin on his face making you wonder what he was up to. He worked so well with others on the team, Bliss, Dave, Norm , both in work and play. His presence will be missed.
With sincere sympathy,
Kay Morrison

Shirley and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. It has been many years, but I still remember what a great and fun teacher he was, as well as a great basketball coach. I also remember him playing badminton with my dad at the Junior High gym a few years before I had him as a teacher. He made a huge impact on many people, left many great memories, and will be sadly missed.
Thinking of you all at this sad time,
Jennifer (Roy) Connell

It's been about 25 years, since I've seen, Mr. Duguay, but he has entered my thoughts often, throughout the years.
He is just one of those people/mentors/teachers, that a student, never forgets.
I can still see him, like it was yesterday.
He was always walking around the classroom, and truly engaged us all.
More importantly, even though it was indeed, years ago.
He understood unique needs.
My sincerest condolences, to all who had the privilege, to know, and adore this man.
Much love to you all.

My sincere condolences to Shirley and family. Mr Duguay was a very sweet man. He was kind and caring of many of his students throughout the years he was a teacher. He used to make us laugh everyday with his candy in the top drawer of his desk. All candy from the students of course. He would let us eat candy as long as we had some for him also lol. He made a huge impact on many lives. He will be missed by many. Rest easy Mr Duguay.

It is hard to believe the years have flown by so fast since the days you were my grade 8 teacher. Seems like yesterday, I was in school and hanging out with Debra at your Mom's house. Such a wonderful family you were blessed with and they with you. My sincere condolences to your family and friends. Always in my memories.

To the family.
I met Terry/Roger when he lived in Dalhousie for a short while. I lived downtown and he lived I believe in the Anderson's apartments. We were friends so I used to lend him my bike often!
We lost touch but when I married Henry (a teacher), we moved to Campbellton. Ran into Terry often as he taught both my kids! We shared a laugh when chatting about my bike left with 2 flat tires!
My memories of Terry are that of a kind and caring friend with a good sense of humor! He will be missed by all who knew him!
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers! Sending warm and gentle hugs to help you through this very sad time.
