Obituary of Brett Stephen Robertson

It is with sadness that the family of Brett Stephen Robertson announces his passing, on Thursday, September 28^th, 2023, at the age of 66.

Brett will be lovingly remembered by his family. Brett is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Sarah Wyatt (James); son, Andrew Robertson; granddaughters, Lily Arsenault and Norah Robertson; brother, Jim Robertson (Rosalind); and sister, Nancy Kusnierz (Dan); nieces and nephews, Amy, Rebecca, Evan, Brett and Will.

Born April 19, 1957 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Brett was the son of the late Robert and Helen Robertson.

Growing up in Saint John’s Newfoundland Brett would forever identify as a Newfie, possessing a deep love of the province and all his life friends. Brett was an enthusiastic athlete with a passion for tennis, basketball and golf. He was a sociable and compassionate individual, admired for his kindness and generosity. A devoted father and friend, he will always be remembered by his loved ones.

The family would like to convey their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at York Care Centre, with special thanks to Richelle Anderson and Mary Ann Vickers for their continuous friendship, care and support.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. There will be no wake or funeral at Brett’s request, with a celebration of life scheduled for a later date.
