Sharon, Sarah & Andrew,
I certainly don’t have the perfect words of comfort to express at this difficult time, please know I’m thinking of you.
I enjoyed all my visits with Brett. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge. Fortunately for me, we always agreed to disagree.
Sharon, you and Brett were great neighbours, welcoming hosts of many gatherings for neighbours, family and friends. There was never a shortage of conversation, laughter, great food and maybe even the occasional beverage. Brett had a positive attitude regardless of the circumstances. Brett, a true friend and definitely an inspiration, not only to me but also, I’m sure, for anyone blessed to call him friend.
Peace be with all of you.
Debbie

Dear Sharon and Family...so sorry to hear of Brett's recent passing. Brett was truly a wonderful person to know, with a great sense of humor. I first met him at the SCCR, and enjoyed many memorable conversations. My sincerest condolences to you all, and praying that the comfort of family and friends will give you strength and peace, as you both grieve and celebrate the gift of his life. May he rest in eternal peace.

Andrew, Sharon, Sarah, and the rest of the family,
So sorry to hear of Brett's passing. I'll never forget searching high and low at the annual Springwater yard sale for VHS tapes for Brett to record his shows! After all, who needs a DVR when you've got a stack of blank VHS cassettes.
I hope you're all coping well... All the best.

Sharon and family.
I just learned today of Brett’s passing. Too much time has passed since I last saw Brett, but the memories of the fun and good times we shared together in St. John’s back in the 80’s will always be cherished.
Those were certainly good times.
Cherish the memories…Brett was one of the very best.

We were so sorry to hear of
Brett’s passing ,
You know we thought the world of a Brett , he was such a great guy and big tease !
back in our New Maryland neighborhood days , I sometimes had to deliver Coreys papers if he was at hockey so Mum had to paper route !
Brett just loved that I brought paper into house for him and we had great chit chats , he always said he was going to call Daily Gleaner and tell them I best paper gal substitute and they should give me a raise. !! He had a wonderful sense of humour !
Fond memories of our neighborhood parties ! And always got caught up on kid / grandchildren news if we saw him at Harvest!
Truly a great guy ,
Thinking of your family

I have many fond memories of Brett growing up. When Brett moved back to New Brunswick our lives went in different directions however we managed to keep in touch occasionally. Myself & his friends were delighted in 2016 & 2019 when he decided to come home for a visit. Attached are a few photos of Brett’s visit back then.

Dear Sharon, Andrew and Sarah, Our sincere condolences. Brett had a wonderful sense of humour and always had something interesting to contribute. I was thinking of Brett when I recently purchased tickets to Ron James at the Playhouse. I remember chatting with Brett during the intermission of a Ron James performance many years ago. We are thinking of you and sending our best wishes. Carol, Luke and family

I am so saddened by the news of Brett’s passing. I loved seeing him around town, he was one of my favourite clients at the bank and we even had the pleasure of having a cider together on occasion at York Cider. He always had a wonderful sense of humour and a hug. He will be greatly missed !

This photo was taken when we went to see a local wrestling match together, it was such a great night. So much laughter and so much fun!
Brett was one of the kindest, funniest, smartest, and most generous people I've ever met. He was all of this and so much more but most of all he was my friend. I miss him dearly, I always will.
Rest in peace my friend.
