Dear Steve and family,
I was so sorry to learn of your father's passing. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Please accept my sincere condolences, to you Steve and your family, in particular Robert, Joanne, and your mom. Your family was a deep part of my childhood. I still remember your phone number on Epworth Circle. I don’t think I will ever forget it, nor will I forget your dad’s gentlemanly goodness, wisdom, and sense of humour. My favourite story is one I heard not long ago. It seems your father was on the street trying out a newly acquired walker, and, in a state of some alarm, a neighbour rushed over to see him, and asked, “Paul, what happened?” And your father replied, “It’s called old age and it’s coming for you too!” I heard the story second-hand through my mom, and I don’t know if I got all the details right, but I do know it was the kind of classic joke your father would make. He will be remembered fondly and well.

Dear Joan, Joanne, Tim, and family. So sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. He will always be in my thoughts and memories of the choir at St Theresa’s. I was always glad to see Paul entering the church on Sunday morning to play the guitar for us. He was always a gentleman, and someone we could reply on. He was missed when he could no longer play with the choir and he will be missed now as he leaves us for his next chapter. Love and prayers to you all. (Sorry I cannot assist in the celebration of life for Paul but I will be there in spirit). Marie and Brent Spencer

Joanne, Tim, Abbie and Jamie,
Our girls were so blessed to have your Dad in their lives too back in the day when you were kind enough to watch them after school. When your Dad would drop in he always included them with his wisdom and a story. To have him so close and involved with your children growing up is a priceless gift. Wishing you strength in the days ahead and sending hugs to all. Xo
