So very sorry to hear of Joans passing but she was prepared for this time. We had many conversations over the years from way back when she worked as a sitter at Pine Grove and I worked there as well and the years when we also attended Keswick Baptist Church. She loved her family , her community ,her friends,her church but above all her wonderful Savior. She always was active in her faith not just a talker of the word but a doer of the word. I am shocked and deeply saddened by the death of my friend Joan. I met Joan when she was in my Grade 12 class at Keswick Ridge Rural High School. We struck a bond which has kept us together as dear friends since 1963. She and I married one week apart in 1965 and had our children in the same years. Because of our children were the same age they became friends at FHS. Joan was a wonderful, Christian lady who worked hard to do her best for her family, her community, and her Saviour. I am glad that she was in my life and that we were able to stay friends for so long. I did not know she was having health problems again but she was sick many times over her lifetime. I remember her being so disappointed that she couldn't continue with her nurse's training, back in the day. I will miss you, Joan, but I know we two shall meet again. Rest in peace, dear woman!
We wish our sincerest condolences to Charlie whom I taught as well , and to Heather and Heidi. Your wife and mother was a good woman.
