Marjorie and her late husband Daina Knight always made themselves accessible to the international students attending Fredericton High School (FHS), University of New Brunswick (UNB) and Saint Thomas University (STU). With the great number of international students from all over the world attending FHS, UNB and STU, we are all grateful to know that Marjorie and her family always extended their warm welcome, helping the international students to better understand and adjust to their new ways of life in Canada. She and her family have definitely warmed the hearts of the international students by opening their home during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The time spent together during the festive seasons has allowed the Knight family and the international students to get to know each other better.
Marjorie and her late husband Daina Knight never ending outreach efforts have definitely helped to put the City of Fredericton, UNB and STU on the world stage. Their outreach contributions have such a profound impact internationally that some of the international UNB alumni have decided to send their children to attend UNB.
She will be greatly missed and her tireless gratitude will forever be appreciated by all.

I want to express my deep condolences to the whole Knight family on the loss of your mother, grandmother, and my dear friend Marjorie. Marjorie and Daina become such close family friends to us from the time we first moved to Fredericton in 1971. We enjoyed many times of fellowship over meals together at our homes and cottages. When I started the Internaional Student Ministry at Bruswick St. Baptist Church, Marjorie soon established it at her church also and we were so blessed to see it grow and minister to students around the world. Our three girls were always delighted to receive beautiful birthday cakes baked by Marjorie to celebrate their special days. She showed her love and care through her continued interest in our lives over the decades, staying in touch with me regularly after I moved to Ontario. I will miss her loving spirit and sense of humour. Sending love from the whole Abraham family.
God bless,
Molly Abraham (with daughter, Sarah Sturtevant)
