ANDERSON, ROBERT BRENT 1962-2022

It is with deep and profound sadness the family of Robert “Brent” Anderson share his passing on Saturday, October 29, 2022.  He was the beloved son of the late Robert and Theresa (Justason) Anderson.

Brent will be greatly missed by the love of his life, his wife of 35 years, Kim (Holmes) Anderson and his greatest joys, his children, Neil (Becca) and Claire Anderson (Jenn). Also mourning his passing is his uncle, Sheldon Justason and many special cousins. In addition, he is survived by his extended family who thought the world of him, including his mother in law, Helen Dykeman (Gabriel Gibson), brother in law, Jeff Holmes, and his nieces, Emma and Grace Holmes.

Along with his parents, Brent was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Anderson and sister-in-law, Karen Holmes.

Brent was a proud professional engineer with the former Diamond Group and Springhill Construction for 32 years. He was highly respected by the construction community and gave back to his profession. He was the past president of the Fredericton Northwest Construction Association and a lifetime member of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of NB.

Brent was a man of many interests, most of which involved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time at his camp with his friends who shared his passion for hunting and fishing. Brent cherished the time spent with his family. Whether it was camping throughout the province, poolside at home, or watching the Bruins play, he was happiest anywhere with them.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 12-2 pm; followed by a service at 2 pm with Rev. Mary Tingley officiating. A Private Family Interment will take place.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.    Contributions may also be made to the Fredericton Northwest Construction Association- Building for the Future Fund to support the trades in local schools. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
