Obituary of Janette Edith Waye

The passing of Janette Edith Waye of Island View, NB, wife of the late Harry Edward Waye, occurred on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on September 16, 1931 in Upper Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Edith (Arbeau) Campbell. Janette’s favourite activity was family get-togethers; she also loved gardening, reading, knitting and especially her puppies.

Janette is survived by children, Kenneth Waye (Sandra), Natalie Waye, Shelley Waye, Stacy Waye (Celia), Jason Waye; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephew, Bill (Bonnie) Waye; her loving puppy, Sam.

Besides her parents, Janette is predeceased by daughters, Geraldine Waye, Janelle Irving; siblings, Frank Campbell, Ben Campbell, Reta Sommerville.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. There will be no public services at this time. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
