Obituary of Geraldine Adeline Dunphy

The passing of Geraldine Adeline Dunphy occurred on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at York Care Centre in Fredericton, NB.  Born on June 22, 1932 in Zealand, NB,  she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Hattie (Estey) Brewer. Geraldine worked as a Special Health Care Worker for York Care Centre and was a member of the Douglas Baptist Church.

Geraldine is survived by husband, Eldon Dunphy; granddaughter, Rosalind Dunphy; grandson, Graham Dunphy; sister-in-law, Marguerite; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Geraldine is predeceased by her son, Gary Dunphy; brothers, Clifford Brewer, Arnold Brewer (Connie) and Merlyn Brewer (Shirley).

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at Douglas Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11 am with Rev. Peter Moore officiating. Interment will be in Burtt’s Corner Community Cemetery.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
